At TorTech, we believe one of the most fundamental aspects of software engineering is the fun we can have with projects and collaboration. It's always fun to pick up new skills and see a project unfold after a complete development cycle. That is our goal at TorTech. To provide a fun, collaborative experience that is not only useful for our own skillset, but find some fun in our careers as well. Not to mention, it looks great on the resume!
The majority of our team comprises students from the University of Minnesota. Most of us are currently students in Computer Science, but we have members in other technical areas as well. A number of us also have experience working in the industry and mentor novice developers on the team.
Collect input from all members of our team and take a vote on which project to prioritize.
Work together to produce a quality project that can be used by anyone.
Practice marketing tactics to generate popularity and the usage of our products.
